This isn't weird at all! Girls are often easier to describe, for a while I couldn't draw men, all I could depict was immature boys, like in shounen mangas y'all know, basically the same face as a girl'southward, minus eyelashes xD

A young boy will still not look likewise different from a young daughter. That's why the older the guy you want to draw is, the more complicated it might become.

See? Young. Same confront… kinda.

And so let's become and see what I can do to aid x3

The eyes

A guy's eyes are really not dissimilar from a daughter'south. And the "eyelashes brand it feminine" thing is irrelevant, in my stance. (I know boys with such long beautiful eyelashes that I am, as a girl, jealous of *coughing*Ben*coughing*)

And so my advice to make eyes more masculine would be to make it slightly smaller (even more than important on an older face up!), and to draw bushier eyesbrows. Try and describe a few hairs separately on the eyebrows! Not all, but on the sides especially. In full general, draw more lines! And make the lines less… "smoothen", less curvy.

The nose

The "more lines" matter again! To draw a less feminine nose I'll describe more than details. For a daughter I'll depict the tip of the olfactory organ and the nostrils, for a guy, the bridge and… the wing of the olfactory organ. Sometimes I'll add a line on the tip of the nose as well…

On a sideview you can also see that Khadgar's olfactory organ is more than "straight", more… realistic. The older your character become (or seems to be ;; ) the less you'll be able to do big eyes and tiny noses, that will make your character expect far too immature (and too feminine, in our instance)

I won't talk about lips/mouth because yeah xD nothing special to say!

Face shape

Yous know we say girls are fabricated of circles and curves, boys of squares and triangles. It's not true for every girl and boy, but… the more "foursquare-y" the face volition be, the easier yous'll exist able to tell you lot've drawn a guy.

That said, as a teen, Khadgar had a quite round face. But despite his round-ish cheeks, I'll draw his chin and jawline more athwart. I believe this is an important particular, it can really change a face.

It gets even more than angular when he looks older. The cheekbones are more visible likewise. Cheekbones, jawline, mentum, make that angular and sexy ;D (unless your character is stubby which in my stance would make him more than sexy anyway)

If you don't know how to all the same, learn how to draw facial hair besides. Took me a while to realize a lot of men would need it in my art x'D And at present it's near odd for me when I draw a guy then well shaven you don't see the stubble xD And then… yep, go alee, it'southward basically just a lot of little lines, it's easy, it simply takes time… it's not dots, it's lines!
