MWC 2022: LG Sends Invites for February 26 2022 LG G6 Unveiling

LG, early this week, sent out a press invitation for a Feberuary 26 2022 effect where the South Korean tech giant is expected to debut its latest flagship smartphone, the LG G6. The press upshot will be held in Barcelona, Espana, a day before Mobile Earth Congress kicks off.

"Run across more than, play more," the invitation reads. The text is set against an epitome of a lake and starry nighttime sky with fireworks going off overhead.

We already know that LG'due south next flagship smartphone will take a Quad HD widescreen brandish with an unusual xviii:9 aspect ratio. The LG G6 is expected to have a resolution of 1,440 by 2,880, or 564 pixels-per-inch, according to the Korean Herald. That's larger than the 1,440-by-ii,560 display found on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Apple tree iPhone 7's 750-by-1,334 screen.

Cramming all those pixels into a 5.7in display will make information technology the world'due south commencement 18:ix QHD LCD, according to LG. Information technology has already moved to make its new feature every bit 'QHD+'.

Other innovations in the upcoming smartphone flagship include a touch sensor that's embedded within the LCD panel, meaning that LG can apply a thinner display and a smaller bezel. If it follows the blueprint of its predecessor, the LG G5, this handset could have another unique features not found on its competitors from Samsung and Apple, similar a removable bombardment.
